PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller point capable of preventing coming-off of its base.
SOLUTION: When a tongue rail 2 starts shifting and the bottom 2a of the tongue rail runs over rollers 7a to 7c, an external force to push down the base 9 of the roller point is added, and moment to rotate the base 9 in a direction shown by an arrow in a figure with a bottom 3a of a stock rail 3 as a fulcrum is generated. Since the tip part 14c of a bolt presses the side surface 3d of the stock rail 3, the base 9 receives a drag from the side 3d. Hence, even when the moment to rotate the base 9 in such a way to make the base 9 come off is generated by adding the external force to the base 9, the drag against the external force is added to the base 9 from the side surface 3d of the stock rail 3, and moment in an direction opposite to the moment is generated. As a result, when the base tries to slightly rotate in a coming-off direction, a rotation controlling member 16 controls its rotation to prevent the coming-off.
