PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze easily a distribution of a suspended matter concentration on a cross section in the water.
SOLUTION: A calculation grid is set on the cross section of a river which is a distribution analysis object of a floating earth-and-sand concentration (step 100), and a measured value is set on a calculation grid equivalent to a measuring spot of the floating earth-and-sand concentration measured actually in the river. The first operation (step 104-106) for operating a value of an additional term by using a fundamental equation showing a relation between a term showing a sedimentation amount of the floating earth-and-sand and the sum of a term showing a diffusion flux in the horizontal direction of the floating earth-and-sand, a term showing a diffusion flux in the vertical direction of the floating earth-and-sand, and the additional term in the state where each initial value is set on other calculation grids, and the second operation (step 108-112) for operating each floating earth-and-sand concentration on other calculation grids other than the calculation grid equivalent to the measuring spot in the state where the value of the additional term operated by the first operation is set in the fundamental equation are repeated until each value of the additional term and the floating earth-and-sand concentration is converged (step 114), to thereby determine the floating earth-and-sand concentration.
