PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rotation efficiency of a superconducting motor by maximally utilizing a superconductivity phenomenon, in addition to simplification and miniaturization of the superconducting motor.
SOLUTION: In a superconducting motor 1 composed of a stator 2 having a conduction coil 23 and a rotator 3 having a permanent magnet 32, the stator 2 and the rotator 3 are built in a single vacuum vessel 4, a superconducting wire 22 is wound around a cooling ring 21, which is an insulant, of the stator 2 to configure a conducting coil 23, the cooling ring 21 is unrotatably supported against the vacuum vessel 4 by a support pin 24, a cryocooler 5 and the cooling ring 21 are connected by a heat conduction pin 25 penetrating the vacuum vessel 4, a power supply and the superconducting wire 22 are connected by a superconducting lead 26 similarly penetrating the vacuum vessel 4, the rotator 3 connects a rotation axis 33 penetrating the vacuum vessel 4, and the rotation axis 33 is rotatably supported against the vacuum vessel 4 by a seal bearing 41.
