PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding material having characteristics where metal and resin are well-balancedly and stably dispersed.
SOLUTION: A number of particulates formed with metal coating on the surface of thermoplastic resin by metallic plating are bonded with each other and integrally formed, so that metal is formed inside, having a network shape. The sliding material processed in such a way provides abrasive resistance and electric conductivity, in which metal and resin are well-balancedly and stably dispersed on the sliding surface. The electric conductivity is stably exerted especially by being used for a submerged bearing.
