PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of a spherical body and a manufacturing method thereof which are capable of manufacturing an arbitrarily-sized spherical body simply and inexpensively from a material such as resin.
SOLUTION: An electrical heating wire 26 is set parallel to a sub-rotational axis Y between mounting holes 22A provided in respective arm materials 22 rotating around the sub-rotational axis Y. While a workpiece W is rotated around a main rotational axis X by rotating a first rotary jig 12, the electrical heating wire 26 is turned around the sub-rotational axis Y perpendicularly intersecting with the main rotational axis X. As a result, one end W1 of the workpiece W is melted by the electrical heating wire 26 to be formed into a hemispherical shape. A second rotary jig 32 arranged oppositely to the first rotary jig 12 is provided with a face plate 34, which performs a vacuum suction of the workpiece W. While the workpiece W is rotated around the main rotary axis X by rotating the second rotary jig 32, the electrical heating wire 26 is turned around the sub-rotational axis Y. As a result, the another end W2 of the workpiece W is melted by the electrical heating wire 26 to be formed into a hemispherical shape.
