PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight permanent magnet type magnetic resonance analyzer which is capable of checking apples or oranges, is easily installed/moved and uses a lightweight permanent magnet whose weight is equal to or less than 200 kg.
SOLUTION: A lightweight permanent magnet type magnetic resonance analyzer comprises a solenoid type RF coil (10) and a pair of plate-like permanent magnets (13) capable of forming a spherical uniform magnetic field space whose magnetic field strength is 43 mT to 65 mT and whose diameter is 5 cm to 10 cm, within the RF coil (10). The RF coil (10) is surrounded with a first radio wave shield (11), and the pair of plate-like permanent magnets (13) are surrounded with a second radio wave shield (11). Then, they are accommodated in an electromagnetic shield chamber (1). A MR signal amplifier (30) is provided which amplifies MR signals within the band of center frequency fo±100 kHz and with an amplification factor of 80 dB or more, among MR signals received by the RF coil (10). Thus, the problems of signal weakening, external noise and circuit oscillation with weight reduction of the permanent magnets can be solved.
