PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric arm that can be formed with a simple structure, facilitates learning of operation and has reproductivity with high controllability.
SOLUTION: An electric arm 1 comprises: a shape detection sensor 2 that is attached to a forearm part 3 of an upper-extremity amputee H and detects a shape of the forearm part 3; a second shape detection sensor 4 that is attached to an acromion 5 of the upper-extremity amputee H and detects a shape of the acromion 5; a control part body 8 that has a sensor signal receiving circuit 15 for receiving a sensor signal 14 to be output from the shape detection sensor 2 according to the shape of the forearm part 3, has a second sensor signal receiving circuit 17 for receiving a second sensor signal 16 to be output from the second shape detection sensor 4 according to the shape of the acromion 5 and has a control signal generating and transmitting circuit 19 for generating and transmitting a control signal 18 based on the received sensor signal 14 and second sensor signal 16; and a hand part 6 that is connected to the control part body 8 and includes arms 7a and 7b whose opening and closing are controlled on the basis of the control signal 18.
