PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic apparatus capable of capturing an image of a subject onto an image forming material even with reduced distance between a neutron generation source and the image forming material.
SOLUTION: A radiographic device includes; a neutron generator having a neutron generation source for generating neutrons; an image forming material placement unit which is located at a distance from the neutron generating source and allows an image forming material to be placed facing the neutron generating source; a housing which surrounds the neutron generating source and the image forming material placement unit; a thermal neutron conversion member which is configured to be permeable to neutrons and is capable of converting the neutrons to thermal neutrons; and a wraparound neutron blocking member which covers a side of image capturing material that is opposite the side facing the neutron generating source and is impermeable to the thermal neutrons. The thermal neutron conversion member is located on a path of the neutrons traveling from the neutron generating source to the image capturing material.
