PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturning risk alarm device in which a vehicle can provide a notification of a risk of overturning during traveling in real time without requiring pre-inputting of a curved-road radius.
SOLUTION: An overturning risk alarm device includes: a first acceleration sensor 11 for detecting an external force applied to a vehicle body in the vertical direction; an angular speed sensor 12 for detecting a rotation with an axle 6 of the vehicle body as a center; and a second acceleration sensor 13 which is horizontal direction physical quantity detection means for detecting an external force applied to the vehicle body in the horizontal direction. A calculation unit 21 calculates a limit index by which a vehicle 1 ends up with overturning using the detection results of the first acceleration sensor 11 and the angular speed sensor 12, calculates a comparison index to be compared with the limit index in real time using the detection result of the second acceleration sensor 13, and causes a notification unit 24 to output overturning risk alarm information providing a notification of the risk of overturning using the limit index and the comparison index.
