PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel particle detector that simultaneously detects backscattered light components at a plurality of different angles to improve accuracy of measurement of gel particles.
SOLUTION: A gel particle measuring apparatus is a detector for detecting scattered light from a sample cell 100 storing a mixed solution W containing a sample S and a reagent R. The detector comprises: an irradiation light guide member GFB having an incident end connected to an incident light source 130, and emitting an incident beam Bm from an emission end to the sample cell 100; a plurality of first detection light guide members GFG1 which introduce through incident ends a scattered light component forming a first angle with an optical axis of the incident beam Bm, of backscattered light components LBS scattered in the mixed solution W in the sample cell 100 and returning toward the incident light source 130, and have emission ends each connected to a first light receiving element; a plurality of second detection light guide members GFG2 which introduce through incident ends a scattered light component forming a second angle with an optical axis of the incident beam Bm, of the backscattered light components LBS, and have emission ends each connected to a second light receiving element.
