PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device capable of preventing deterioration in a system throughput by configuring a circuit so as to cause reduction in a comparable amount of transmission power in response to an increase in a CCA level of a radio system.
SOLUTION: A radio communication device for random access comprises: a signal attenuation unit which arbitrarily attenuates the received signal input from an antenna and the transmitted signal output to the antenna; a received signal level detection unit which detects a received signal level of the received signal from the signal attenuation unit; a signal attenuation determination unit which determines the attenuation of the signal attenuation unit which can be transmitted from the detected received signal level; a modulation mode determination unit which determines modulation mode when the signal attenuation unit attenuates and transmits a signal; and a radio signal transmission unit which transmits a radio signal via the signal attenuation unit according to modulation mode.
