PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pressure sensor that does not have the possibility of buckling and the problem of a reduction in accuracy of measurement due to deflection.
SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 11 includes a hard ball group 21 consisting of a plurality of hard balls having electric conductivity. The hard ball group 21 is arranged in a housing 22 while being in an aggregate state in which the hard balls are in contact with each other. The housing 22 binds the outer circumferences of the hard ball group 21 and thereby fixes the arrangement of the hard ball group 21. A first electrode 23 electrically connected to the hard ball group 21 is arranged at an underside of a first pressure receiving part 222 that is a top part of the housing 22. A second electrode 24 electrically connected to the hard ball group 21 is arranged on a top face of a second pressure receiving part 223 that is a bottom part of the housing 22. A pressure is detected by a circuit part 12 taking advantage of the fact that a resistance value between the first electrode 23 and the second electrode 24 changes due to pressures that the first pressure receiving part 222 and the second pressure receiving part 223 receive.
