|発明の名称||ALGORITHM FOR DETECTING POSITION OF CROP|
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop image processing algorithm capable of stably detecting the positions of crops which grow in a field.
SOLUTION: (1) The positions of crops are detected by utilizing a template matching method using the cross-correlation as a criterion of judgement and stably operating a system in a field in which light environment changes or (2) the shapes and arrangement information of the crops are included in a template used to emphasize only crop component. And the algorism for detecting the positions of crops is obtained where the field of crops planted at a definite interval is targeted and which is strong to a noises such as weeds and change of light conditions and enable application to actual field operation. The algorithm becomes breakthrough positioning in the computerization of farm operation and the application of the present invention enables effective partial spraying, detection and supplemental planting of defective stubs and unmanned traveling of vehicles and lightens labor of farm operation and accelerates computerization.
