|発明の名称||METHOD FOR PERFORMING INTERVAL ESTIMATION OF CURRENTLY EXISTING AMOUNT OF PELAGIC FISH RESOURCE, AND PROGRAM AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR THE SAME|
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing an interval estimation of the currently existing amount of pelagic fishes, without requiring random sampling, also without setting an experimental or a trial and error type hypothesis and correcting a bias based on a natural law regarding to a size distribution to which the groups of fishes follow.
SOLUTION: The interval estimation of the currently existing amount of a pelagic fish resource is provided by correcting the distortion of the size distribution data by performing a regression analysis of an average size of groups [N]p in an investigated sea area by using an actually measured data regarding to a groups of group-forming fishes such as the groups of pelagic fishes, and a group size distribution function expressed by formula 1 to which a measured number of degree W of the group of fishes having the size N follows, and obtaining the estimated values biases of which are corrected, of a pelagic fish resource density in subject sea area, the total currently existing amount or a resource amount index together with their confidence intervals by using the above result of analysis and a related formula expressed by formula 2 existing among the number of individual pelagic fishes in a unit area, i.e., an individual body density (ρ) the splitting probability of a fish group (p) and the average size of groups [N]p. Here, the related formula 2 denotes that the average group size is proportional to the pelagic fish resource density.
