Technology summary (In Japanese)文章を理解する過程において,入ってくる言葉に対する統合が言語の統語論の規則によって決められるなど,遠くに作られた構造に入ってくる言葉に対する構造を統合することが必要である。現在の一つの理論に従って,新しい言葉wの統合の処理コストはwとwが統合される統語法の先頭の間の距離に比例する。構造的な統合のコストはオンライン処理の負荷を考慮すると重要な因子であることが示された。
