Technology summary (In Japanese)ウナギを実験材料として,精子形成の制御機構の解析を行った。ウナギの精子形成過程でユニークな発現変化を示す因子のcDNAクローンを35種類得ることに成功し(表1),これらの因子をそれぞれ精子形成関連因子:eSRS 1~35と名付けた。これらの因子と精子形成の制御との関係を検討した結果,eSRS34は,精原幹細胞の増殖の制御に(図1), eSRS1(アクチビンB)とeSRS21Aは精子形成の開始の制御(図2)に,eSRS22は精子成熟の制御にそれぞれ内分泌の支配を受けて作用することが明らかとなった。
