Technology summary (In Japanese)化学反応を見ることは化学者の長年の夢である。しかし、反応はフェムト秒からピコ秒の時間内に起こる超高速過程であるため、その時間発展を可視化することは殆ど不可能と思われてきた。本研究では、超短パルスフェムト秒レーザーと荷電粒子の二次元検出を組み合わせ、時間分解光電子画像観測法を実現する。そして、簡単な分子の化学反応の画像化を実現するとともに、溶液の化学解明を目標において研究を進める。
