Technology summary (In Japanese)本研究は様々な極限的実験環境下において高温超伝導体を中心にした超伝導体の電子状態や磁束状態を解明し,超伝導の基礎的な理解をもとに,超伝導関係の理工学の基礎づくりに貢献することを目的にしている。具体的には

 ・高温超伝導体の大型高品質単結晶の育成および新物質開発

 ・GHz-THz帯における超伝導エレクトロニクスの基礎研究

 ・高温超伝導体の磁束状態の解明

 ・渦糸のダイナミクスと内部電子状態の研究

 ・ジョセフソンプラズマ共鳴を用いた渦糸構造の研究

 ・渦糸構造と相転移の研究

 ・直接観察による渦糸の微視的構造の解明

を中心課題とする。

強磁性と高温超伝導が共存する新しい物質RuSr2GdCu2O8系(図1:結晶構造)については単結晶育成法を検討中である。層状超伝導体で磁場が ab-面内の時,c軸方向の場合とは異なる磁束状態が存在することを発見した。また,その時,ジョセフソンプラズマが2つのブランチに分離することを見いだした。
