Technology summary (In Japanese)霊長類の大脳皮質における物体視覚像の処理過程を解析し,物体の認識にいたる脳内メカニズムの理解を目指した。心理学・生理学・解剖学・分子生物学・陽電子断層撮像法(PET法)を用いてサルの一次視覚野から下側頭葉皮質にいたる腹側視覚経路の機能と構造を解析した。結果,
